Custom resources

Overview

XPKit allows you to specify your own custom resources that you need to manage. Examples include inventories, reviews, products or companies. There are no restrictions on what you can create.

To add a new custom resource you should login to XPKit Portal and create the new resource in the "Resources" section. Your applications can then manage these using the API endpoints.

Naming convention

It is suggested you follow the XPKit naming convention and call your resources by their singular name, so companies would be company for example.

Analytics

On creation and modification (similar to profile and activity resources), custom resources can be sent to various destinations such as Segment and web hooks via XPKit Portal.
